easyJet non-executive Director leaves

Luton Airport based airline easyJet has announced that Dawn Airey is to step down from its board of directors in order to concentrate on her new role as chairman and chief executive of Channel 5.
She had been a non-executive director at the airline for five years. An easyJet statement reports that the budget airlline is close to confirming the appointment of a successor.
Sir Colin Chandler, easyJet chairman, said: ‘I was delighted when Dawn was appointed to her new role, but regret that the demands of that role have led to her decision to step down. We would like to thank her for her help over the years and wish her good luck.’
