A Boeing 737 made an emergency landing at Luton Airport on Wednesday after reports of smoke in the cockpit. The aircraft had taken off from Luton but had to turn around and land again shortly afterwards.
Emergency services were called to the airport shortly after 09:00 and were on standby close to the runway. The plane landed safely with no signs of fire and airport firefighters inspected the jet.
