Blue Air to launch Romania flights

Romanian budget airline Blue Air is to launch flights between from Luton Airport and Bacau,in the historical region of Moldavia and on the Bistrita river in northern Romania at the foothills of the Carpathian mountains, next month. It will be the second UK route for Blue Air, which already flies between Stansted and Bucharest.
The twice weekly Bacau flights will be operated using a Boeing 737 aircraft, departing Luton at 23:30 on Monday and 00:55 on Friday. Flights arrive at Bacau at 04:45 on Tuesday and 06:10 on Friday.
A spokesman for Luton Airport said: ‘We are delighted to announce the arrival of Blue Air. Low fares flights continue to make business and leisure travel accessible to millions. The launch of this route to Bacau provides yet more choice for our passengers.’
