easyJet charity fundraising pledge

easyJet has pledged to raise £1 million for the Alzheimer's Society in its latest charity of the year partnership - aiming for £1 for each of the sufferers expected to be diagnosed with the disease in the next 10 years. The budget airline raised £400,000 last year for the Anthony Nolan Trust, but a spokesman said it was confident it would reach the much higher target this year, despite the credit crunch.
