Two men are to face trial over charges of importing heroin worth over £1 million into Luton Airport. Matthew Flint, 22, and Brenton Tobin, 24, both pleaded not guilty to the charges and were remanded in custody at Uxbridge Magistrates Court.
The pair were arrested when they arrived at the airport on September 14 on a flight from Istanbul, Turkey. Mr Flint, of Bletchley, is charged with importing 15 kilos of heroin, while Mr Tobin, of Two Mile Ash, is charged with importing 11 kilos. The case will be committed to the crown court on October 28 after both defendants pleaded not guilty.
