Passengers up 10.7% for easyJet

easyJet carried 3.14 million passengers in January, up 10.7% on the 2.84 million passengers carried in 2009. Its load factor, a measure how full its planes were on average, increased by 3.6 percentage points to 86.2%.
In the rolling 12 months to the end of January the budget airline carried 46.4 million passengers, up 3.8% on the previous 12 months. Its average load factor for the 12 months was 86.2%, up 1.2 percentage points.
