Public meeting on flightpath plans this weekend
04.06.08
A public meeting is to be held this weekend for villagers in the Dunstable area to find out how plans to change flightpaths in and out of Luton Airport could affect them.
Fears have been raised by residents in Studham, Whipsnade and Kensworth that the volume of air traffic flying over homes will increase if plans by National Air Traffic Systems (NATS) are approved. Anyone who would like to find out more about the impact of the changes has been urged to come to the meeting on Saturday (June 7).
The meeting will be at Studham Village Hall from 10:00. Among the speakers attending is Michael Nidd of the London Luton Airport Town and Village Communities Committee (LLATVCC) who will be able to answer technical questions.
