easyBus website upgraded
05.05.08
The easyBus website has received a major upgrade. It now shows maps and timetables of drop-off and pick-up points for services between central London and Gatwick, Stansted and Luton Airport.
The website now uses estimates of traffic conditions to recommend buses for particular check-in times, and will also take into account unexpected changes to customers' journeys. For example, if an inbound flight is delayed, a text message will be sent to passengers with easyBus bookings to tell them they have seats reserved on a later bus.
The easyBus website receives around 12,000 hits a day, which is expected to increase by 25% as it expands its route coverage. Vasant Mistry, CEO at easyBus, said, ‘Our website is often the first point of contact we have with customers. We have upgraded it to make it as informative, interactive and user-friendly as possible.’
