easyJet passengers up 9.4 percent

easyJet carried 9.4 percent more passengers in June compared with a year earlier, boosted by strike action at British Airways. The budet airline carried 4.54 million passengers, up from 4.15 million a year earlier
Its load factor, a measure of how full its planes were, was 87.2 percent in June, up from 86.3 percent a year earlier. The rolling 12 month figure rose 1.5 points to 86.7 percent, with its passengers up by 7 percent to 47.64 million.
