Passengers and load factor up at easyJet

Luton Airport based airline easyJet has announced October passengers up 18.4% on a year earlier at 3,959,194. Its load factor, a measure of the number of passengers as a proportion of the number of available seats, was up 1.4 percentage points to 83.9%.
In the 12 months to the end of October the airline carried 44,273,756 passengers, up 17.6% on the previous 12 months, with its average load factor up 0.5 percentage points to 84.2%. (Note: this years figures include the acquisition of GB Airways in March. The comparatives to not).
