easyJet passengers up 7.3% in December

easyJet passengers were up 7.3% in December compared to a year earlier. The budget airline said passengers rose to 3,111,388, from 2,899,349, with its load factor up a significant 3.3 percentage points to 82.3%.
In the rolling 12 months to the end of December easyJet carried 44,583,476 passengers, up 16.6% on the previous 12 month period (although 2008 included the benefit of buying GB Airways, which was not included in the 2007 comparative). Its average load factor during the year was 84.6%, up 1.2 percentage points.
