easyJet passengers up 4.3% in July

easyJet carried 4.3% more passengers in July than last year, as demand for cheap flights held up during the recession. The airline flew 4.66 million passengers during the month. Its load factor climbed to 90.3% from 89.3%.
In the 12 months to the end of July the airline carried 44.7 million passengers, up 6.4%. Its average load factor was up 1.8 percentage points 85.3%.
