Passengers up 13.5 percent at easyJet

easyJet carried 13.5 percent more passengers in March than last year - up to 3.96m from 3.49m. The budget airline's load factor -- a measure of passengers against available seats -- improved by 2.8 percentage points to 87.5 percent.
In the year to the end of March the airline carried 47.2m passengers, up 6.8 percent on a year earlier, with an averge load factor of 86.4 percent.
