ArabJet reported Silverjet airline bidder
10.06.08
ArabJet, a Dubai-based aviation company that hopes to start operations in 2009, has offered to buy failed Luton Airport based all business airline Silverjet for an undisclosed sum, Emirates Business 24/7 reports.
The Dubai base airline has been planning to launch all business class flights since the first quarter of 2006, but ‘investment market failure’ has forced it to postpone its plan, the newspaper reports. ArabJet now said to be seeking clarification from Silverjet's administrator, Begbies Traynor, regarding potential legal and financial liabilities.
