easyJet offer passengers airport lounges - for a fee
13.06.05
easyJet, the UK's first no-frills airline with its base at Luton Airport, is to add back some frills by offering passengers airport lounges. But typical of the budget airline, the lounges come at an additional fee of from £12 and up.
In a move aimed at the growing number of business travellers flying with no-frills airlines, easyJet has decided to offer airport lounges at 33 of the UK and European airports it operates at. The easyJet lounges will follow the traditional airport lounge model, offering free beer, wine, spirits and light snacks, papers and magazines to read, plus business facilities such as internet connection, fax and photocopying.
The lounges are bookable online at www.easyjet.com and cost from £12 per person. Or you can compare the cost and book airport lounges at every UK airport, and some foreign airports too, via this airport lounge page.
