ex-Virgin director joins easyJet

easyJet has appointed Paul Moore as its new communications director, to replace Oliver Aust. He previously worked at Virgin Atlantic, where he was director of corporate affairs and at the centre of the price fixing case against British Airways that collapsed last year.
The budget airline's new chief executive, Carolyn McCall, said: ‘His experience will be extremely valuable to easyJet.’ Moore will take up his post on November 1 and will sit on the Airline Management Board, reporting to McCall. He said: ‘I’m thrilled to be joining easyJet. I’ve always admired the company and what the brand stands for.’ Aust leaves at the end of the month to take up another director of communications role.
