easyJet boss has an orange problem
15.10.11
Carolyn McCall, the chief executive officer at easyJet, had a strange complaint after her first year at the company. She told CNN in an interview that it concerns the budget carrier's distinctive orange livery, which covers everything from its planes to its staff and even its head office at Luton Airport.
Mr McCall does not dislike the colour, in fact it is just the opposite. But now she fears being seen in anything that might resemble easyJet uniform would lead to public ridicule from her former friends in the press. She said: ‘I've always loved [orange]. I have a very smart, orange jacket, which I have not worn since I've been here.’ We wonder if she might also refuse to sit near David Dickinson or Dale Winton at a charity event too !
