easyJet lose CCO

The Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) of Luton airport based budget airline easyJet, Saad Hammad, is leaving after just over 3 years in the role to become European managing director at private equity firm Gores Group. The airline is already seeking a replacement.
Mr Hammad, who has previously held senior brand, sales and marketing roles at Procter & Gamble, Thorn EMI and Vision Express, leaves just months after head of brand marketing Paul Simmons also left the airline. He joined Dubai Land Parks & Resorts as sales and marketing director.
