Budget airline Danubewings is to launch a three times service from Luton Airport to Poprad, Slovakia on December 1. It will use a Boeing 737 and has promised low fares.
Simon Harley, Luton Airport's airline manager, expressed his delight at the arrival of Danubewings. He said: ‘Low-fare flying continues to make travel accessible to millions of Europeans. The launch of this new service to Poprad provides yet more choice from Luton Airport.’
Poprad is in the north of Slovakia close to the High Tatras Mountains. It is a popular spot for people looking to enjoy skiing or walking getaways.
