BA strike boost for easyJet
26.05.10
easyJet has seen a big increase in demand as a result of the cabin crew strike at BA, the budget airline has revealed. Half of its available seats on flights from the UK during the strike dates have been sold since the industrial action was confirmed.
The first 5 day strike began on Monday, with further stoppages to begin on May 30 and June 5. easyJet said the strike is 'proving the final straw for BA passengers' and urged those who could be affected to 'consider their options to avoid disappointment'.
