easyJet tell Expedia 'stop selling our flights'
26.06.08
easyJet has warned Expedia to stop selling its flights or face legal action. An easyJet spokesman told The Register yesterday that it has ‘no business relationship whatsoever’ with expedia.co.uk. Despite this, the online travel giant continues to sell easyJet flights at higher prices to customers who do not realise that an agent is taking a big cut of their flight costs.
An easyJet spokesman said: ‘We have written to Expedia and asked them to stop selling our flights. They are doing so without our express permission.' She added that ‘legal action could follow’ if Expedia does not heed the airline's warnings.
