26.08.09
Airport transfer operator easyBus has carried its two millionth passenger. The London based company operates a low-cost express transfer services between central London and Stansted, Luton and Gatwick airports. It has reached the milestone after achieving 25% growth over the last year.
Its growth has been driven by customers trading down in the current recession from higher-priced rail companies, who charge over £16 one way compared to easyBus' starting price of £2. easyBus CEO, Jonathan Crick, said, ‘Travellers are used to shopping around for cheap flights and are not happy to blow their savings on an expensive train ticket or taxi fare.’
