19.05.09
Passengers taking off from Luton Airport will be able to fly to South Africa, Asia and India, thanks to a new route from EL AL to Tel Aviv set to take off tomorrow. They will be able to use the service to take onward flights to destinations including Beijing, Johannesburg, Hong Kong, Bangkok and Mumbai.
Flights between the Israeli city and Luton will begin this weekend and are set to run six times a week. Glyn Jones, the airport's managing director, said the launch of the new route was ‘very exciting’ because it offered the possibility of onward connecting flights.
