easyJet add online check-in for hold luggage passengers

easyJet has launched online check-in for passengers with hold baggage today. The budget airline has encouraged passengers travelling with hand baggage to check in online for some time, but now passengers with hold baggage can also do so.
The service has been introduced at 94 of the 112 airports it flies from, with the remaining 18 airports to follow ‘over time’. It allows passengers to check in online via easyJet.com and then take their bags to a bag drop point at airport along with their online check-in boarding card. offering a 'faster, less stressful airport experience', the airline said.
easyJet will continue to offer a standard check-in desk facility, and there will be no charge for either online check-in/bag drop or the existing airport check-in process - unlike at the online only / £5 check in charge 'service' at Ryanair.
