easyJet to sell travel insurance on flights
31.10.10
easyJet is to start selling travel insurance on its flights. The budget airline said it would offer the product because its research had found that 1 in 5 holidaymakers from the UK were flying off without insurance.
A spokeswoman for the airline said passengers who had forgotten or not made time to buy insurance prior to their trip would be able to buy it from their plane seat from tomorrow. It will be interesting to note how the budget airline deals with the FSA compliance rules, with passengers who have pre-existing medical conditions, with older passengers and with the cooling off period.
